21 عامًا على استشهاد الطفل محمد الدرة

يوافق اليوم الخميس، 30 سبتمبر الذكرى الـ21 لاستشهاد الطفل محمد جمال الدرة (12 عامًا) برصاص جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في شارع صلاح الدين في مدينة غزة.

وجاءت جريمة إعدام الدرة بعد يومين من اندلاع انتفاضة الأقصى في 28 سبتمبر/أيلول عام 2000 عقب اقتحام رئيس حكومة الاحتلال الأسبق أرييل شارون المسجد الأقصى المبارك برفقة قوات كبيرة من جيش الاحتلال.

وأصبح الطفل محمد الدرة أيقونة الانتفاضة الفلسطينية ومُلهمها، وصورتها الإنسانية في مشهد لن ينساه العالم، حيث كشف عن مدى جرم ووحشية الاحتلال الذي يطلق الرصاص بدم بارد على الفلسطينيين، بمن فيهم الأطفال.
